Install the Jellyfin app

Open the Google Play Store and search for Jellyfin. Install the official app (the blue jelly icon). It's free.

Add the Multiplex server

Open Jellyfin. Tap Add Server. Enter the server address:

Sign in with your credentials

Enter your username and password from the welcome email. Tap Sign In.

Start streaming

Browse Movies and TV Shows. Tap any title to play. Jellyfin will stream at up to 1080p automatically based on your connection. For best quality, use WiFi.

Adjust playback quality (optional)

Tap the ⚙ settings icon during playback → Quality. Select 1080p for best picture, or a lower resolution to reduce buffering on slow connections.

💡 Tip: Enable Direct Play in Jellyfin settings (Profile → Playback) for smoother streaming without transcoding.

Install the Jellyfin app

Open the App Store and search for Jellyfin. Install the official app. It's free. There is also Infuse (paid, recommended for Apple devices) which works with Jellyfin servers.

Add the Multiplex server

Open the app and tap Connect to Jellyfin Server or Add Server. Enter:

Sign in

Enter the username and password from your welcome email. Tap Sign In.

Stream at 1080p

Browse Movies and TV Shows. Tap to play. Content streams at up to 1080p. For best experience, connect to WiFi before streaming.

Using Infuse (optional, best quality)

In Infuse, go to Settings → Add Files → Add Network Share. Select Jellyfin, enter https://jellyfin.multiplex-service.com and your credentials. Infuse provides native playback with superior audio/video quality on Apple devices.

💡 Tip: On iPad, Jellyfin supports picture-in-picture so you can browse other apps while streaming.

Option A — Web browser (easiest)

Sign in with your credentials

Enter your username and password from the welcome email. Click Sign In.

Set playback quality to 1080p

In the web UI: click your user icon → Settings → Playback. Set Max streaming bitrate to 8 Mbps (1080p) or Auto. The server cap is 1080p — anything above that reverts to 1080p.

Browse and play

Navigate Movies, TV Shows, and Libraries. Click any title to see details, then click Play. Supports subtitles, multiple audio tracks, and chapters.

💡 Tip: For the best video quality, use a browser that supports H.264/H.265 hardware decoding (Chrome or Edge on Windows, Safari on Mac).

Go to the Multiplex requests portal

Visit: https://requests.multiplex-service.com

This is where you request new movies and TV shows to be added to the server.

Sign in with your Multiplex credentials

Use the same username and password from your welcome email. Click Sign In.

Search and request

Use the search bar to find any movie or TV show. Click the title, then click Request. Approved requests are downloaded automatically — typically within a few hours.

Check request status

Go to Profile → Requests to see the status of your requests: Pending, Downloading, Available, or Failed. Once marked Available, the content appears on your Jellyfin server.

Browse the calendar

The Calendar tab shows upcoming episode air dates for TV shows you've requested. New episodes are grabbed automatically when they air.

💡 Tip: Content that's already on the server shows as Available immediately — no request needed. Just open Jellyfin and start watching.

Install Jellyfin from the Amazon App Store

From your Fire TV Stick home screen, press the Search (🔍) button and search for Jellyfin. The official app is now available directly in the Amazon App Store — select it and tap Get or Download. It's free. No sideloading required.

Open Jellyfin and add the server

Once installed, open Jellyfin from Your Apps & Games. Tap Add Server and enter the server address:

Sign in with your credentials

Enter the username and password from your welcome email. Tap Sign In.

Browse and stream

Use the Fire TV remote to navigate Movies and TV Shows. Press Select to play. Content streams at up to 1080p automatically. For best quality, make sure your Fire Stick is connected via 5 GHz WiFi.

Can't find it in the App Store? Use the sideload method

If Jellyfin doesn't appear in your search, you can sideload it: go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options and enable Apps from Unknown Sources. Then install the free Downloader app from the App Store, open it, and enter https://jellyfin.org/downloads to download and install the Android APK directly.

💡 Tip: Once installed, hold Select on the Jellyfin icon → Move to front to pin it to your Fire TV home screen. For the best experience, use a Fire TV Stick 4K or newer — older models may buffer on high-bitrate 1080p content.

Install Jellyfin from the App Store

On your Apple TV, open the App Store and search for Jellyfin. Install the official app — it's free. Alternatively, Infuse 7 (paid, highly recommended) offers the smoothest Apple TV streaming experience with native Dolby Atmos support.

Add the Multiplex server

Open Jellyfin and tap Add Server. Enter the server address:

💡 On your iPhone, open Control Center → Apple TV Remote to type using your phone's keyboard instead of the on-screen keyboard.

Sign in with your credentials

Enter the username and password from your welcome email. Tap Sign In. Your library will load automatically.

Enable Direct Play for best quality

In Jellyfin, tap your user icon → Settings → Playback. Enable Direct Play and set quality to 1080p / 8 Mbps. This streams without re-encoding for the sharpest picture and preserves original audio tracks.

Browse and play

Use the Siri Remote to navigate Movies and TV Shows. Click to open any title, then click Play. Swipe left/right on the touch surface to skip forward or back 10 seconds. Subtitles and audio tracks are available via the playback menu (swipe down during playback).

What is the Requests App?

The Requests App lets you browse, search, and request any movie or TV show — and we'll automatically download it for you. Install it as a web app on your phone for the best experience: push notifications, offline support, and a full-screen native-app feel with no App Store needed.

Android (Chrome)

Open Chrome

Open Google Chrome on your Android phone and go to:

Sign in

Log in with the username and password from your welcome email.

Install the app

Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner of Chrome. Tap "Add to Home Screen" or "Install App".

Confirm

Tap "Install" in the popup. The Multiplex icon will appear on your home screen.

Launch and request

Tap the Multiplex icon on your home screen. The app opens full-screen — no browser bars. Browse trending titles, search for anything, and tap "Request" to add it to your library.

iPhone / iPad (Safari)

Open Safari

Open Safari on your iPhone or iPad and go to:

⚠️ You must use Safari — Chrome and other browsers on iOS don't support "Add to Home Screen."

Sign in

Log in with the username and password from your welcome email.

Tap the Share button

Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up: ) at the bottom of the screen.

Add to Home Screen

Scroll down in the share sheet and tap "Add to Home Screen". If you don't see it, scroll to the bottom and tap "Edit Actions" to enable it.

Confirm and launch

Tap "Add" in the top-right corner. The Multiplex icon appears on your home screen. Tap it to open the full-screen app.

💡 Push notifications: After installing, go to Settings → Notifications inside the app and enable push notifications. You'll get notified when your requested titles are ready to watch.
💡 Unreleased titles: You can request titles that aren't released yet. The app will show "Not yet released" and automatically download them when they become available — no need to check back.
